I've photographed weddings since 2017. Before that, eight years in editorial portraiture for British and Scottish magazines. I work alone for elopements and small ceremonies, and bring a second photographer when the day deserves two pairs of eyes.
What I won't do: awkward group poses, fake confetti shots, golden-hour clichés, Instagram-preset edits. What I will do: spend the whole day with you, take a thousand frames you'll never see, and deliver the few hundred that will outlast every other thing about the day.

Most weddings book 6–12 months out. I keep 2–3 spots open each year for shorter timelines and elopements.
Enquiry form → 30-minute call (free, no pressure) → I send a contract and 25% retainer invoice → date locked in. Final payment a month before the day.
Yes — within 60 miles of Edinburgh is included. Further afield (Highlands, North-East England, Northern Ireland) is a flat £200 travel fee. International weddings are quoted individually.
Yes — £350 for two hours including 60+ edited images. Included free if you book The Full Day or The Weekend.
It usually does. Some of my best work has been in proper Scottish weather — moody skies, candlelight indoors, umbrellas. I bring weather covers for the gear and a plan B for every shoot list.
